Note Block Song Competition
We're turning up the volume with the Note Block Song Competition—a unique event where creativity takes the stage through sound. Throughout May and June, players and staff are invited to compose original note block songs, adding musical flair to the server in place of traditional builds. There’s no central district for this event to keep things smooth and lag-free—just pure, player-made melodies echoing across bases. At the end of June, the community will vote for their favorite track, and the winner will receive a prize package including two months of membership, diamonds, and more. Whether you're remixing a classic tune or composing something brand new, this is your chance to let your music be heard!

Spring District Build Event
Each spring, we open a dedicated area for seasonal builds that celebrate renewal, nature, and fresh beginnings. Located at -390, 1230 on the Nether roof, the Spring District invites players to create anything from flower fields and blooming forests to cozy garden cottages. It’s a collaborative space where creativity and community come together. Whether you're building solo or working with others, all players are welcome to contribute to this vibrant, ever-growing event.
Egg Hunt
The Guthix Egg Hunt is a seasonal event where shulker box "eggs" are hidden throughout the server’s most-traveled areas. From spawn to the shopping district, and even along the Nether and Overworld highways, players can search for hidden rewards and rare collectables. Some eggs contain unobtainable items—custom-enchanted gear you won’t find anywhere else—making each discovery a chance to snag something truly unique. Keep your eyes peeled and happy hunting!

Fireworks Show
Every summer, Guthix lights up the skies with a community fireworks show to celebrate the season. Join us for a colorful display of custom-crafted firework effects, set against a festive backdrop. It’s a chance to gather, hang out, and enjoy the explosive creativity of our players. Don't miss one of the most vibrant events of the year!
Capture The Flag
Capture the Flag is a competitive, player-driven event where strategy, stealth, and speed all come into play. Participants take turns finding and relocating a shared flag across the server, with the goal of capturing it the most times—or being the one to hold it last. Flags must be placed near each player's base within a set boundary, keeping the game fair, fun, and accessible. It’s a classic game with a Minecraft twist, perfect for players who enjoy exploration, friendly rivalry, and a bit of mischief.
Halloween District Build Event
Each fall, we open a special Halloween District for spooky, seasonal building and community fun. Enter through the giant pumpkin on the main End island and claim your spot among haunted houses, eerie graveyards, and other festive creations. Builders of all styles are welcome to contribute—whether you're crafting a creepy cottage or an entire haunted carnival. With two full months to participate, there's plenty of time to add your own flair to this collaborative celebration of all things Halloween.
Perma-Night
October gets a spooky twist with our Perma-Night Event! For the entire month, the world will remain in permanent night—no sunrise, no daylight, just an eerie, atmospheric darkness perfect for Halloween. As a seasonal treat, Creeper griefing is disabled, so your builds are safe from unwanted explosions (though you’ll still take damage!). You can still sleep to fend off phantoms, but the long night sets the tone for a hauntingly fun season of survival.
Winter District Build Event
Each winter, we open a dedicated district for cozy, festive, and snow-covered builds to help celebrate the season. From icy castles and holiday villages to frozen lakes and warm cabins, this collaborative space is all about capturing the magic of winter. Whether you're building solo or teaming up with friends, all players are welcome to contribute their own unique touches. Come help create a snowy wonderland filled with creativity and seasonal cheer!
The Purge
Once a year, chaos takes over Guthix during The Purge—a no-holds-barred event where PvP, looting, and griefing are fully allowed across the entire server. For a limited time, all safe zones vanish, and survival becomes a ruthless game of strategy, betrayal, and revenge. A full backup is made before the madness begins, and everything reverts afterward—so go wild without long-term consequences. Just remember: all standard rules still apply outside of PvP, looting, and griefing—no hacking, harassment, or inappropriate behavior. Welcome to the most brutal event of the year.
